Classic Roasted Brussels Sprouts
A timeless side dish, these roasted Brussels sprouts are crisp on the outside and tender on the inside, offering a delightful nutty flavor perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients
1 lb Brussels sprouts
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow outer leaves.
3. Cut the Brussels sprouts in half for even cooking.
4. In a large mixing bowl, toss the sprouts with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
5. Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet.
6. Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, shaking the pan occasionally, until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside.
7. In the last 5 minutes of roasting, add the minced garlic and continue roasting.
8. Remove from the oven and drizzle with balsamic vinegar if desired, then serve warm.
Storage
Store the roasted Brussels sprouts in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
To reheat, place the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet and warm in a 350°F (175°C) oven for about 10 minutes or until heated through.
