Ingredients

8 oz elbow macaroni
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
3 cups milk
1/4 cup butter
2 1/2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp paprika

Instructions

1. Cook the macaroni in a large pot of boiling salted water until just tender, then drain.
2. In a separate saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
3. Stir in the flour, salt, pepper, and paprika until well blended.
4. Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens and comes to a boil.
5. Reduce the heat and stir in the cheeses until melted and smooth.
6. Combine the macaroni with the cheese sauce and stir gently to coat evenly.
7. Pour into a greased baking dish and bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
