Classic London Broil

A timeless London Broil recipe featuring a marinated flank steak, seared to perfection, offering a flavorful and tender experience.

Ingredients

1 flank steak (about 2 lbs)
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, whisk together soy sauce, olive oil, red wine vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, garlic, Dijon mustard, oregano, and black pepper.
2. Place the flank steak in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
3. Preheat your broiler. Remove the steak from the marinade, discarding the marinade.
4. Place the steak on a broiler pan and broil for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.
5. Remove the steak from the oven, let it rest for 5 minutes, then slice thinly against the grain to serve.

Storage

Store the cooked steak in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat slices gently in a skillet over medium-low heat until warmed through.
