Classic Garlic Bread Spread

Ingredients

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 loaf French bread, halved lengthwise

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a medium bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper, mixing until well blended.
3. Spread the butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the French bread.
4. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top of the spread.
5. Place bread halves on a baking sheet, buttered side up.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and crispy.
7. Remove from oven, slice, and serve warm.

Storage

Store leftover garlic bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
