Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter
2 cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
2. In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
3. Remove from heat and stir in sugar until smooth.
4. Beat in eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
5. Stir in vanilla extract.
6. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
7. Gradually add dry ingredients to the butter and sugar mixture, stirring until just combined.
8. Fold in chocolate chips.
9. Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly.
