Classic Creamy Coleslaw

Ingredients
1 medium head green cabbage, shredded
1 cup carrots, grated
1 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp granulated sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1/2 tsp celery seed
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage and grated carrots.
2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, granulated sugar, salt, freshly ground black pepper, and celery seed until smooth.
3. Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrots, and toss until the vegetables are well coated.
4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.
5. Serve cold, giving it a final stir before serving.
Storage
Store coleslaw in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
Allow the coleslaw to sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes before serving, or serve directly from the refrigerator.
