Classic Chocolate Frosting

Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 cup whole milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy.
2. Gradually add the powdered sugar and cocoa powder, mixing on low speed until combined.
3. Add the milk, vanilla extract, and salt, then increase to medium speed and beat until the frosting is smooth and fluffy.
4. Adjust consistency with more milk if necessary, then use immediately or store as directed.
Storage
Store the frosting in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
Reheating
