Classic Chili
A hearty and flavorful classic chili that is perfect for any occasion. This dish is packed with ground beef, beans, and tomatoes, simmered to perfection, making it a comforting and warming meal option.

Ingredients
2 lbs ground beef
2 tbsp olive oil
1 large onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 bell pepper, chopped
2 cans (15 oz) kidney beans, drained
1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
2 tbsp tomato paste
2 cups beef broth
2 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Cook until the onion becomes translucent.
2. Add the ground beef to the pot. Cook and stir until the beef is browned and cooked through.
3. Stir in the chili powder, cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes to toast the spices.
4. Add the kidney beans, crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, and beef broth. Stir well to combine.
5. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer uncovered for about 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
6. Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary. Serve hot.
Storage
Allow chili to cool completely before transferring to an airtight container. Store in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
Reheating
Reheat the chili in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until heated through. Alternatively, reheat in the microwave in a microwave-safe container.
