Ingredients
1 lb fresh crab meat
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 large egg
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp chopped fresh dill
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, combine crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, egg, lemon juice, dill, salt, and pepper. Mix gently to avoid breaking the crab meat.
2. Shape the mixture into 8 equal-sized patties and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to firm up.
3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
4. Fry the crab cakes for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
