Citrus Herb Carne Asada Marinade

Ingredients

1 cup olive oil
1/2 cup fresh lime juice
1/4 cup fresh orange juice
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup packed fresh cilantro leaves, chopped
1/4 cup packed fresh parsley leaves, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, lime juice, orange juice, and soy sauce until well-combined.
2. Add apple cider vinegar, cilantro, parsley, garlic, cumin, smoked paprika, and chili flakes. Stir until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
3. Season the marinade with salt and pepper, adjusting to taste.
4. Place your beef in a large resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over it.
5. Seal the bag and ensure all the beef is coated thoroughly; marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
6. Remove beef from the marinade and grill to desired doneness.

Storage

Store any unused marinade in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

To reheat, bring steak to room temperature, then grill or pan-sear for a few minutes until warmed.
