Ingredients
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
3 cups old-fashioned oats
1 cup raisins
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
5. Gradually beat the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
6. Stir in oats, raisins, and walnuts until evenly distributed.
7. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheets.
8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
9. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
