Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
2. In a bowl, mix together flour, granulated sugar, salt, and baking powder.
3. In another bowl, combine milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract, then pour into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
4. In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon.
5. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan, then sprinkle with half of the cinnamon-sugar mix.
6. Pour the remaining batter over the cinnamon layer and top with the remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture.
7. Swirl the batter with a knife to create a marbled effect.
8. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
9. Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Storage

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Warm slices in the oven at 300°F for 5-10 minutes.
