Chocolate Peppermint Bark

Ingredients

12 oz dark chocolate chips
12 oz white chocolate chips
1/2 tsp peppermint extract
1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies

Instructions

1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Melt dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds, until smooth.
3. Pour the melted dark chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet, spreading it into an even layer.
4. Refrigerate until set, about 15 minutes.
5. Melt white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds, until smooth.
6. Stir in peppermint extract to the melted white chocolate.
7. Pour the white chocolate over the set dark chocolate layer, spreading it evenly.
8. Sprinkle crushed peppermint candies over the white chocolate layer.
9. Refrigerate until fully set, about 30 minutes.
10. Break the bark into pieces and serve or package for gifting.

Storage

Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for up to 2 weeks.
