Chilled Broccoli Medley

A refreshing and crunchy broccoli salad mixed with tangy dressing, perfect for a summer picnic or a light lunch.

Ingredients

4 cups broccoli florets
1/2 cup shredded carrots
1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup raisins
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, combine the broccoli florets, shredded carrots, red onion, raisins, and sunflower seeds.
2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper to make the dressing.
3. Pour the dressing over the broccoli mixture and toss to ensure all ingredients are well-coated.
4. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the flavors meld.
5. Stir the salad again before serving.

Storage

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Enjoy this salad cold straight from the fridge; reheating is not necessary.
