Cheesy Quesadillas
These quick and simple cheesy quesadillas are a perfect meal or snack, filled with gooey melted cheese and customizable with your favorite ingredients like sliced jalapeños, leftover chicken, or fresh tomatoes. Simply grill on a skillet until crispy and golden for a delightful treat.

Ingredients
4 large flour tortillas
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup sliced jalapeños, optional
1/2 cup cooked chicken, optional
1/2 cup diced fresh tomatoes, optional
2 tbsp butter
Instructions
1. Preheat a large skillet over medium heat.
2. Place one tortilla in the skillet and sprinkle 1/2 cup shredded cheese evenly over the surface.
3. Add your choice of optional ingredients like jalapeños, chicken, or tomatoes on top of the cheese.
4. Place another tortilla on top and gently press down.
5. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the bottom tortilla is golden brown and the cheese has started to melt.
6. Carefully flip the quesadilla and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the second side is golden and crispy.
7. Remove from skillet and let it cool for a minute before cutting into wedges.
8. Repeat with remaining tortillas and ingredients.
Storage
Store leftover quesadillas in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
To reheat, place quesadilla wedges in a skillet over low heat until warmed through, or microwave for 30 seconds.
