Cheesy Bacon Pigs in a Blanket

Enjoy this unique twist on the classic pigs in a blanket with a cheesy and bacon-filled surprise inside, perfect for parties and gatherings.

Ingredients

8 oz crescent roll dough
8 mini hot dogs
4 oz cheddar cheese, cut into thin strips
4 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Roll out the crescent roll dough and separate into triangles.
3. Spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard on each triangle.
4. Place a mini hot dog on the wide end of each triangle.
5. Add a strip of cheddar cheese and a sprinkle of bacon crumbles on top of each hot dog.
6. Roll the dough around the hot dog, starting from the wide end until fully enclosed.
7. Brush each wrapped roll with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
8. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
9. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
10. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Storage

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes or until heated through.
