Ingredients

1 lb ground beef
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
2 cups mashed potatoes
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil, then add chopped onion and bell pepper, sautéing until soft.
3. Add ground beef to the skillet, cooking until browned and no longer pink.
4. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper.
5. Mix in the frozen vegetables and cook for 5 additional minutes.
6. Transfer the beef and vegetable mixture into a baking dish.
7. Spread the mashed potatoes evenly over the beef mixture.
8. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of the potatoes.
9. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
10. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Storage

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and reheat for 15-20 minutes or until heated through.
