Caramel Apple Walnut Bread

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup diced apples
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/3 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
5. Mix in the sour cream until well combined.
6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
7. Fold in the diced apples and chopped walnuts.
8. Pour half the batter into the prepared loaf pan and drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the top.
9. Add the remaining batter and drizzle the rest of the caramel sauce on top, using a knife to swirl it gently through the batter.
10. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
11. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Storage
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for up to a week.
Reheating
Reheat individual slices in the microwave for 15-20 seconds or warm the entire loaf in a 300°F oven for 10-15 minutes.
