Buffalo Chicken Wings

Ingredients

2 lbs fresh chicken wings
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 cup hot sauce (such as Frank's RedHot)
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 tbsp white vinegar
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Celery sticks for serving
Blue cheese or ranch dressing for dipping

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with foil, then place a wire rack on top.
2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
3. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels, then toss them in the flour mixture until well-coated.
4. Place the coated wings on the wire rack and bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning halfway through, until crispy and cooked through.
5. In a saucepan over low heat, combine hot sauce, butter, vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until butter is melted and sauce is well combined.
6. Transfer the baked wings to a large bowl and pour the sauce over them, tossing to coat evenly.
7. Serve immediately with celery sticks and blue cheese or ranch dressing for dipping.

Storage

Store leftover wings in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

To reheat, place wings on a baking sheet and warm in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 10-15 minutes, or until heated through.
