Ingredients
1 lb broccoli florets
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup breadcrumbs
2 large eggs
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
1. Blanch the broccoli florets in boiling water for 2 minutes; drain and let cool.
2. In a large bowl, combine broccoli, cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, eggs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
3. Shape the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
4. Roll each ball in flour, ensuring they are fully coated.
5. In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Fry the poppers in batches until golden brown, about 3 minutes per side.
6. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve warm.
