Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry
Tender strips of beef and bright green broccoli florets are tossed in a savory soy sauce mixture, making for a quick and satisfying meal that pairs perfectly with steamed rice.

Ingredients
1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
2 cups broccoli florets
2 tbsp vegetable oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp water
1 tsp sesame oil
1/2 tsp ground ginger
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup sliced green onions, for garnish
Instructions
1. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to form a slurry.
2. In a separate bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, ground ginger, and the cornstarch slurry. Stir well and set aside.
3. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
4. Add sliced beef to the pan and stir-fry until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove beef from the pan and set aside.
5. In the same pan, add garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
6. Add broccoli florets to the pan and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes, or until bright green and tender-crisp.
7. Return the beef to the pan, pour the sauce over the beef and broccoli, and stir well to coat evenly.
8. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.
9. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
10. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
Storage
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
Reheat in a skillet over medium heat until warmed through, or microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until hot.
