BBQ Chicken Sliders

These BBQ Chicken Sliders are the ultimate crowd-pleasers, featuring tender slow-cooked chicken breasts drenched in zesty barbecue sauce, served on soft slider buns with a refreshing dollop of tangy coleslaw.

Ingredients

2 lbs boneless chicken breasts
2 cups barbecue sauce
1 cup coleslaw mix
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp honey
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
12 slider buns

Instructions

1. Place chicken breasts in a slow cooker and pour barbecue sauce over them.
2. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or until the chicken is tender and can be easily shredded.
3. Remove the chicken from the slow cooker, shred with two forks, and return to the sauce.
4. In a bowl, combine coleslaw mix, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
5. Toast the slider buns to your liking.
6. Assemble sliders by placing a generous amount of shredded BBQ chicken on the bottom half of each bun.
7. Top with a dollop of coleslaw and place the other half of the bun on top.
8. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Storage

Store leftover chicken and coleslaw separately in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

To reheat, warm the chicken in a microwave or on the stovetop until heated through. Assemble sliders as directed.
