Baked Hash Brown Casserole

Ingredients
2 lbs of frozen hash browns
1 can (10.5 oz) of condensed cream of chicken soup
2 cups of sour cream
2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup of melted butter
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
1 cup of crushed cornflakes
2 tablespoons of melted butter
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a large bowl, mix together the condensed cream of chicken soup, sour cream, 2 cups of cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup of melted butter, chopped onion, salt, and pepper until well combined.
3. Fold in the frozen hash browns until evenly mixed.
4. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
5. In a separate bowl, mix the crushed cornflakes with 2 tablespoons of melted butter, then sprinkle evenly over the top of the casserole.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Storage
Store leftover casserole in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
To reheat, place the casserole in an oven-safe dish and cover with foil. Warm in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes, or until heated through.
