Ingredients

1 lb fresh strawberries
8 oz dark chocolate, chopped
1/4 cup almond butter
1 tbsp coconut oil
1/4 cup chopped almonds, for garnish

Instructions

1. Wash and thoroughly dry the strawberries, leaving the stems intact.
2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted and smooth.
3. Stir in the almond butter until well incorporated.
4. Holding each strawberry by the stem, dip it into the chocolate-almond mixture, letting the excess drip off.
5. Place the dipped strawberry on a parchment-lined baking sheet and sprinkle with chopped almonds.
6. Repeat with all strawberries then refrigerate until the chocolate is set, about 20 minutes.
