Ingredients

2 tbsp instant coffee granules
2 tbsp granulated sugar
2 tbsp hot water
1 cup milk (hot or cold, as preferred)

Instructions

1. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the instant coffee granules, granulated sugar, and hot water.
2. Using a handheld mixer or a whisk, beat the mixture until it becomes thick and frothy, forming stiff peaks. This may take about 3 to 5 minutes with an electric mixer or longer by hand.
3. Prepare a glass with your choice of hot or cold milk, filling it about 3/4 of the way full.
4. Gently spoon the whipped coffee mixture over the milk, creating a thick layer on top.
5. Serve immediately and stir the whipped coffee into the milk before enjoying.

Storage

Store the whipped coffee mixture in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Stir well before serving if separation occurs.

Reheating

If you prefer a warm drink, reheat the milk separately and then top it with the refrigerated whipped coffee.
