Ingredients
3 ripe avocados
1 mango, diced
1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
1 lime, juiced
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp ground cumin
1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
1 clove garlic, minced
Instructions
1. Halve the avocados, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
2. Add lime juice immediately to prevent browning of the avocados.
3. Mash the avocados with a fork, leaving some chunks for texture.
4. Stir in diced mango, red onion, cilantro, sea salt, ground cumin, jalapeño, and minced garlic.
5. Mix until well combined, and taste for seasoning, adjusting as necessary.
Storage
Store the guacamole in an airtight container in the refrigerator, pressing plastic wrap directly onto the surface to minimize browning. Consume within 2 days.
Reheating
Guacamole is best served fresh and is not recommended for reheating. Enjoy it chilled or at room temperature.
