Zesty Herb and Citrus Baked Chicken Thighs

Ingredients

6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
1 lemon, zested and juiced
1 orange, zested and juiced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup chicken broth
1 tbsp honey

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
2. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and place them in the baking dish.
3. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, rosemary, thyme, lemon zest, orange zest, minced garlic, lemon juice, orange juice, chicken broth, and honey.
4. Pour the herb and citrus mixture over the chicken thighs, ensuring they are well-coated.
5. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
6. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

To reheat, place chicken in an oven-safe dish and heat at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes, or until warmed through.
