Zesty Clam and Herb Dip

Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
2 cans (6.5 oz each) minced clams, drained
1/4 cup finely chopped fresh parsley
1/4 cup finely chopped chives
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp lemon zest
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
Salt to taste
Chopped fresh dill for garnish

Instructions

1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
2. Gently fold in the minced clams, parsley, chives, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
3. Season with salt to taste and adjust any other seasonings if needed.
4. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
5. Before serving, garnish with fresh dill.

Storage

Store the dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.

Reheating

To reheat, let the dip sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before serving, or microwave on low heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until just warmed.
