Ingredients
2 cups diced apples (preferably Granny Smith)
1 cup diced celery
1 cup red seedless grapes, halved
1/2 cup chopped toasted walnuts
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp lemon juice
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
Lettuce leaves for serving
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, combine diced apples, celery, grapes, and toasted walnuts.
2. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
3. Pour the dressing over the apple mixture and gently toss to coat evenly.
4. Chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
5. Serve chilled over a bed of fresh lettuce leaves.
