Vintage Oven-Roasted Asparagus

Ingredients

1 lb fresh asparagus
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp lemon zest

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Trim the woody ends off the asparagus.
3. In a large bowl, toss the asparagus with olive oil, salt, pepper, and minced garlic.
4. Arrange the asparagus on a baking sheet in a single layer.
