Vintage Buttercream Frosting

Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
4 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons heavy cream

Instructions
1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter on medium speed until creamy.
2. Gradually add powdered sugar, one cup at a time, mixing well after each addition.
3. Stir in vanilla extract and salt, beating until incorporated.
4. Add heavy cream and beat on medium-high speed for about 3-4 minutes, until the frosting is light and fluffy.
Storage
Store leftover frosting in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
Reheating
