Unique Peach Cobbler Delight

Ingredients

4 cups of fresh peaches, sliced
1 cup of all-purpose flour
1 cup of granulated sugar
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1 tsp of baking powder
1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp of ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp of salt
1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
1 cup of buttermilk
1 tsp of vanilla extract

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2. Spread the sliced peaches evenly in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
3. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
4. Stir in the melted butter, buttermilk, and vanilla extract until a smooth batter forms.
5. Pour the batter evenly over the peaches.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the peaches are bubbling.
7. Allow to cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.

Storage

Store any leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheat individual portions in the microwave for 30-45 seconds or until warmed through.
