Ingredients

1 lb fresh asparagus
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp lemon zest

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
2. Trim the woody ends off the asparagus spears.
3. In a large bowl, toss the asparagus with olive oil, ensuring even coating.
4. In a separate bowl, mix Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
5. Arrange the asparagus in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
6. Sprinkle the cheese mixture evenly over the asparagus.
7. Roast in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, until the cheese is golden brown and the asparagus is tender.
8. Remove from oven and sprinkle lemon zest over the top before serving.
