Tropical Hibiscus Mai Tai

A refreshing variation of the classic Mai Tai cocktail infused with a floral twist, featuring hibiscus syrup blended with rum, citrus juices, and a hint of almond for a perfect summer drink.

Ingredients

2 oz light rum
1 oz dark rum
1 oz hibiscus syrup
0.5 oz orgeat syrup
0.75 oz fresh lime juice
0.5 oz orange curaçao
1 lime wheel, for garnish
1 hibiscus flower, for garnish
Ice cubes

Instructions

1. Fill a shaker with ice cubes.
2. Add light rum, hibiscus syrup, orgeat syrup, lime juice, and orange curaçao.
3. Shake well until the mixture is chilled.
4. Strain the mixture into a glass filled with fresh ice cubes.
5. Gently float the dark rum on top by pouring it over the back of a spoon.
6. Garnish with a lime wheel and a hibiscus flower.
7. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Storage

Store any leftover hibiscus syrup in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

Reheating

This cocktail is best enjoyed fresh and does not require reheating.
