Traditional Warm Toddy

A comforting, warm alcoholic beverage perfect for cold nights and soothing sore throats, crafted with whiskey, honey, and spices.

Ingredients

2 oz whiskey
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp lemon juice
1 cup hot water
1 cinnamon stick
1 slice lemon
2 cloves

Instructions

1. In a heat-resistant mug, combine the whiskey, honey, and lemon juice.
2. Pour hot water into the mug, stirring until the honey dissolves.
3. Add the cinnamon stick and cloves.
4. Garnish with a slice of lemon on the rim of the mug.
5. Serve immediately while hot.

Storage

Best consumed immediately, but can be stored in a thermos for up to 2 hours.

Reheating

Reheat gently over low heat on the stovetop, do not boil to preserve flavors.
