Traditional Tri-Tip Steak
A mouthwatering Tri-Tip Steak, perfectly seasoned and grilled to achieve a tender and juicy texture, making it a favorite for gatherings or a family dinner.

Ingredients
3 lbs tri-tip roast
2 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp kosher salt
2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat your grill to high heat.
2. In a small bowl, combine minced garlic, olive oil, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
3. Rub the mixture evenly over the tri-tip roast, ensuring all sides are coated.
4. Place the tri-tip on the grill, directly over the heat, and sear for 4 to 5 minutes per side.
5. Move the tri-tip to indirect heat and continue to grill for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 130°F for medium-rare.
6. Remove from grill and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing against the grain.
Storage
Store leftover tri-tip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
To reheat, preheat your oven to 250°F and warm the tri-tip in a baking dish for about 15 minutes.
