Traditional Spinach Sauté

Ingredients
1 lb fresh spinach
2 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Instructions
1. Rinse the spinach thoroughly under cold water and pat dry.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
3. Add minced garlic and sauté until golden brown, about 1 minute.
4. Add the spinach to the skillet and toss with the oil and garlic.
5. Season with salt and black pepper, and continue to sauté until spinach wilts, about 4-5 minutes.
6. Remove from heat and drizzle with fresh lemon juice before serving.
Storage
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
Reheating
Reheat in a skillet over low heat until warmed through, or microwave for 30-40 seconds.
