Traditional Shrimp Scampi

Ingredients
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup dry white wine
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
1. Melt butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
2. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
3. Stir in the shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side.
4. Add the white wine, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce slightly reduces.
5. Stir in fresh parsley and adjust seasoning if necessary.
6. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
Storage
Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
Reheating
Gently reheat in a skillet over medium heat until warm, adding a splash of water or broth if necessary.
