Traditional Salmon Bake

Ingredients

2 lbs salmon fillet
1 tbsp olive oil
1 lemon, thinly sliced
1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Place the salmon fillet on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
3. Drizzle olive oil over the salmon and season with salt and black pepper.
4. Arrange lemon slices over the salmon and sprinkle chopped dill evenly.
5. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, grated Parmesan cheese, and minced garlic.
6. Spread the mayonnaise mixture over the salmon, ensuring even coverage.
7. Drizzle melted butter over the top for added richness.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
9. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Storage

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat in a preheated oven at 300°F (150°C) for about 10 minutes or until warmed through.
