Ingredients
4 lbs pork ribs
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp paprika
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1 cup BBQ sauce
2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
2. In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper to create a dry rub.
3. Rub the dry mixture generously over both sides of the ribs.
4. Place the ribs on a large piece of aluminum foil and drizzle with olive oil.
5. Wrap the ribs tightly in foil and place on a baking sheet.
6. Bake in preheated oven for 2.5 hours, until ribs are tender.
7. Remove from oven and increase temperature to 400°F (200°C).
8. Carefully unwrap the ribs and brush with apple cider vinegar and BBQ sauce.
9. Return to oven for an additional 15 minutes, allowing the sauce to caramelize.
10. Remove from oven, let rest for 5 minutes, then serve.
Storage
Store leftover ribs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and heat ribs for 10-15 minutes until warmed through.
