Traditional Mexican Tacos

Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
12 corn tortillas
1 cup shredded lettuce
1 cup diced tomatoes
1/2 cup diced onions
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
1 lime, cut into wedges
Salt and pepper to taste
Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
1. Heat a pan over medium-high heat and add a drizzle of olive oil.
2. Add the ground beef to the pan, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
3. Stir in the taco seasoning and a splash of water; simmer for 5 minutes.
4. Warm the corn tortillas in a separate pan or microwave.
5. Fill each tortilla with a portion of the beef mixture.
6. Top with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cheese, and cilantro.
7. Serve with lime wedges on the side.
Storage
Store leftover tacos in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
To reheat, warm the taco filling in a pan over medium heat or in the microwave until hot, then assemble with fresh tortillas and toppings.
