Traditional Italian Antipasto Pasta Salad

A delightful Italian-inspired pasta salad combining vibrant vegetables, savory meats, and bold cheeses, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

1 lb rotini pasta
1/2 cup sliced salami
1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
1/2 cup sliced black olives
1/2 cup cubed mozzarella
1/4 cup grated Parmesan
1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
1/4 cup Italian dressing
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Cook the rotini pasta according to package instructions. Drain and let cool.
2. In a large bowl, combine the cooled pasta, salami, pepperoni, cherry tomatoes, red bell pepper, black olives, mozzarella, Parmesan, red onion, and basil.
3. Pour the Italian dressing over the mixture and toss to coat evenly.
4. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld.

Storage

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Best served cold. If desired, let sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before serving to take the chill off.
