Traditional Green Bean Delight

Ingredients

1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp soy sauce
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 can (6 oz) French fried onions, divided
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and blanch the green beans for 3-4 minutes. Drain and set aside.
3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, and black pepper.
4. Stir in the blanched green beans and half of the French fried onions.
5. Transfer the mixture into a baking dish and sprinkle the cheddar cheese on top.
6. Bake uncovered for 25 minutes, then sprinkle the remaining French fried onions over the casserole.
7. Bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the onions are golden and crispy.

Storage

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 15 minutes or until heated through.
