Traditional Green Bean Bake
A delightful oven-baked dish featuring fresh green beans and a rich, creamy mushroom sauce, topped with crispy onions—perfect for holiday feasts and family gatherings.

Ingredients
1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed and halved
1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
3/4 cup whole milk
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp soy sauce
1 can (6 oz) crispy fried onions
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
2. In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook green beans until just tender, about 5 minutes. Drain well.
3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, black pepper, and soy sauce.
4. Add the cooked green beans and half of the crispy fried onions to the soup mixture and stir to combine.
5. Pour the mixture into a 9-inch x 13-inch baking dish.
6. Spread the grated cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
8. Remove from oven, sprinkle remaining crispy fried onions on top, and bake for an additional 5 minutes, until golden brown.
9. Let cool slightly before serving.
Storage
Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F for 10-15 minutes or until hot. Alternatively, microwave on high for 2-3 minutes, stirring halfway through.
