Traditional Golden Croutons

Ingredients
4 cups day-old bread, cubed
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp dried Italian herbs
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a large bowl, toss bread cubes with olive oil until evenly coated.
3. Sprinkle garlic powder, salt, pepper, and Italian herbs over the bread cubes and toss again to distribute the seasonings.
4. Spread the seasoned bread cubes in a single layer on a baking sheet.
5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, stirring halfway through.
6. Allow to cool before serving or storing.
Storage
Store croutons in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
Reheating
To reheat, place croutons on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes until warm and crisp.
