Ingredients
2 lbs russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup whole milk
1/4 cup unsalted butter

Instructions
1. Place the cubed potatoes in a large pot and cover with cold water. Add a pinch of salt.
2. Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat and cook potatoes until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
3. Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
4. In a small saucepan, heat the milk and minced garlic over low heat until warm.
5. Add the warm milk and garlic to the potatoes, along with the butter.
6. Mash the potatoes using a potato masher or electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
8. Mix until all ingredients are well combined and serve warm.
Storage
Store leftover mashed potatoes in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
To reheat, place the mashed potatoes in a saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally, until heated through. You can also reheat in the microwave, stirring every minute until warm.
