Traditional Cranberry Gelatin Delight

Ingredients

1 can (14 oz) whole cranberry sauce
1 package (3 oz) raspberry gelatin
1 cup boiling water
1 cup cold water
1/2 cup crushed pineapple, drained
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup finely chopped celery
1/2 cup diced apple
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

1. In a medium bowl, dissolve the raspberry gelatin in 1 cup of boiling water.
2. Stir in 1 cup of cold water, mixing thoroughly.
3. Add the whole cranberry sauce, ensuring it is fully incorporated.
4. Stir in the crushed pineapple, chopped walnuts, celery, diced apple, and lemon juice.
5. Pour the mixture into a mold or serving dish.
6. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
7. Once set, unmold or serve directly from the dish.

Storage

Store leftover cranberry gelatin salad in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

This dish is best served cold and does not require reheating.
