Traditional Carrot Salad

A delightful and refreshing carrot salad featuring a mix of shredded carrots, raisins, and a tangy dressing, perfect for a light side dish.

Ingredients

4 cups shredded carrots
1/2 cup raisins
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon honey
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, combine the shredded carrots and raisins.
2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice, honey, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
3. Pour the dressing over the carrot mixture and toss until well coated.
4. Cover and refrigerate the salad for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld before serving.

Storage

Reheating
