Ingredients

8 slices Italian bread

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
2. Arrange bread slices on a baking sheet and brush with a bit of olive oil.
3. Bake for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
4. In a bowl, combine diced tomatoes, chopped basil, minced garlic, remaining olive oil, salt, and pepper.
5. Spoon the tomato mixture onto the toasted bread slices.

Storage

Store leftover topping in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Store bread separately at room temperature.
