Ingredients
2 lbs ground beef
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup diced onion
1/4 cup ketchup
2 eggs
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 cup finely chopped parsley
For glaze: 1/4 cup ketchup
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp mustard
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, diced onion, ketchup, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and chopped parsley. Mix until well blended.
3. Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
4. In a small bowl, mix together the glaze ingredients: ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard. Spread evenly over the meatloaf.
5. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
6. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Storage
Store leftover meatloaf in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
Reheat slices of meatloaf in the microwave for 1-2 minutes or in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes until heated through.
